When I was 18 I travelled and lived in New Zealand for 6 months, working as a groom some of the time and hanging out on the rodeo circuit the rest of the time.
In the summers of 2008 and 2009 I did two long distance bike trips, both beginning in SK and ending back in central MB. The longest of the two was 400km and lasted 4 days.
The hardest physical thing I’ve ever done was climbing the Franz Josef Glacier (NZ), in the rain; I would do it again in a heart beat.
I shaved my head as part of a modelling job in 2011, and was paid $650 for it, which went towards seeing more of the NZ countryside.
Besides being athletic, I have 10 years of musical training as well as 6 years of theatre training (I even minored in Theatre before switching faculties). That being said, I’m a horrible actor. And please never ask me to follow choreography, it never goes well.
I once applied for a beauty pageant as a joke. Then got accepted into the finals, and ended up participating. Big hair, ball gowns, and all.
I can juggle, thanks to a class in my first year of University.
I prefer to eat my chicken fingers with honey as my dipping sauce, I didn’t eat pizza until I was 13, nor did I even try a burger until I was 17.
Two of my biggest inspirations are my parents, and I am privileged to have very good relationships with many of my extended family members.
My riding coach calls me Smiley, because the first two years I trained under him- I was too nervous to smile.
